Platform.as is the largest player in the Danish market for the rental of work platforms and construction hoists, and now the Ishøj-based company has secured an important trading agreement with the major contracting company Nordstern.
Things are steadily looking up for the Danish equipment rental company Platform.as, which in the coming years will be providing support Nordstern’s construction projects. The large contracting company has entered into a trading agreement with Platform.as, meaning that they will supply work platforms andhoists to one of Denmark’s largest contracting companies.
For Casper Gorm Knudsen, the CEO of Platform.as, this new agreement is yet another testament to the increasing market prioritization of workplace environment, safety, and efficiency.
“This is a significant agreement for us and proves that we have the right approach to the market. We have few products on our shelves – but we are world champions in them. I believe this means a lot to a large contractor like Nordstern, who knows they are getting a top-professional and reliable supplier,” says the Platform director.
He expects that the agreement will initially result in an increased turnover of 3-4 million kroner per year. The rental company will continue to aim for more stable collaboration agreements, as these long-term relationships also yield the best results.
“We prioritize making these types of collaboration agreements because we believe that long customer relationships build trust. It creates a mutual understanding and yields the best results. Therefore, we will continue to pursue the opportunity to secure more similar agreements,” says Casper Gorm Knudsen.
Increasing Both Safety and Efficiency
According to Platform.as’ director, large construction companies expect very clear processes and good systems that make everyday life easier and more efficient for their staff. In addition, Nordstern is known in the industry for its dedicated work with Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) – and here, safety and well-being are crucial elements, Casper Gorm Knudsen believes.
“Whether it is on the construction sites or in the office, the industry places great emphasis on the well-being, safety, and health of colleagues. In this context, we believe that work platforms offer a host of benefits, as they contribute to better working postures, ergonomics, and general job satisfaction. At the same time, we see that the equipment increases daily productivity,” says Casper Gorm Knudsen.
Platform.as is already dispatching platforms and hoists to Nordstern’s first projects.
With approximately 350 work platforms, Platform.as is Denmark’s absolute largest renter of work platforms – and among the country’s largest renters of personnel hoists and material hoists.
