The solution includes three double-masted and one single-masted platform, all covered. The double-masted platforms are almost 40 meters long. It provides the craftsmen with a fantastic large working area – and that in dry weather!

“Because we have to go so high up in the air, we have chosen to get a platform. And it works really well because we can have our elements with us and easily get them onto the roof surface,” says Thomas Gerner, thatcher and owner of Tækkefirmaet Horneby. The thatching company is, along with other interesting companies, in the process of building their fantastic bid for the future of construction under the project “Housing Construction from 4 to 1” at Søren Kierkegaard’s Square in Copenhagen.

On a covered platform solution, people can work in dry weather while being protected against the worst draft, and materials and tools do not get ruined by rain and slush.
