We also place great emphasis on further educating our employees, so the number of qualified fitters is continuously increasing. And since our service-minded employees are found on construction sites throughout the country every day, there is almost always a competent fitter near your construction site. Although all our hoists and platforms are quality machines from Alimak and Scanclimber, and we systematically check and service the machines, we can never fully guard against breakdowns, such as from rough handling of the equipment. And this creates additional reassurance when the construction management knows that one of our fitters or repairmen is always nearby.
Tailor-made solutions and 360-degree collaboration
At Platform.as, we customize solutions with work platforms and hoists for specific construction and renovation tasks. We are a rental company, but we do more than rent. We meet our customers in a 360-degree collaboration that includes site inspection, planning, delivery, installation, relocation, pickup, and servicing as needed.
The work platforms can be easily mounted to move up and down a straight facade, be built around a corner of a building, adapted to a circular construction, or something completely different. The platforms can also be constructed with different types of brackets and special decks, so they can also be used when there are protrusions in the facade, such as cornices, bay windows, and balconies.
Our personnel and material hoists can transport staff, materials, or both up to a height of 300 meters. The largest of our construction hoists lift, at 54 m./min., up to 3,200 kg. And with an internal dimension of 3.9 x 1.5 x 2.3 m., there is enough space for 29 people or many long, heavy, and unwieldy materials. The hoists can also be equipped with a spacious side door, allowing large pallets of materials to be loaded directly into the hoist, for example, with one of our telehandlers or mini loaders.
The working environment gets a significant boost
Work platforms have the capacity for multiple people to work at the same time, and there is ample space on the machines for materials and tools. When craftsmen work on mobile work platforms, they can continuously adjust the height, avoiding strenuous working heights and unsafe working positions. When the platforms are in the lowest position, they can also be easily loaded with materials. In this way, the craftsmen avoid exposing their bodies to many, and inappropriate, heavy lifts.
Almost all our construction hoists have built-in ALC control. It is intelligent control that ensures the hoists a smooth landing when they stop at a floor, as well as the hoists automatically stop at all the floors where they have been called. This makes a trip in the hoist feel like riding in an elevator.
