See four examples of tailor-made hoist solutions, which Platform.as has designed, mounted, and serviced in Aarhus, Copenhagen, and Frederiksberg. On two of the projects, our work platforms have also been part of the solution.

GET A PERFECT WORKING HEIGHT AND BOOST THE PIECE RATE

Tobias and his colleagues are installing windows when Platform.as interviews him at the construction site in Valby.

Platform.as total covering streamlines renovation project in Valby

In Valby, Nordstern is fully renovating the seven apartment blocks of Henriksgården. To streamline the many processes involved in the project, the contractor has chosen to rent a total cover from Platform.as. The tailor-made solution consists of 20 work platforms, which are set up in continuation of each other on the apartment block’s two long sides. Between the two rows of platforms, over the building, cassettes have been installed on which the covering cloth is attached. And in each gable, a work platform supports the total solution.

Specialized solution with work platforms set up at Radisson Blu

In Amager, dan-alu a/s has replaced all the windows on the 90-meter-high Radisson Blu Scandinavia. To perform the work safely and efficiently, the carpenters used a tailor-made solution from Platform.as, where the work platforms were set up on specially designed steel frames, we calculated in collaboration with Scanclimber, dan-alu, and a consulting engineering firm.

Loaders make construction and renovation jobs more efficient

Platform.as rents out, in addition to work platforms and hoists, also telescopic handlers and mini loaders with various additional equipment. In the video, you can see a team of bricklayers from TH Mur & Fliser using one of Platform.as’ telescopic handlers with a basket to quickly and efficiently lift wheelbarrows with mortar up to the work platforms.

VACUUM LIFTER TAKES CARE OF THE HEAVY LIFTS

“This one, it’s our dear friend. It makes everything easy for us. And we don’t wear ourselves out,” says Andreas Roelsen from AMR Byg, among other things, when Platform.as interviews him about the use of a vacuum lift, while he and his colleague are installing large glass sections at a construction site in Hedehusene. A work platform with a top crane, a powerful electric vacuum, and a remote control makes the work a breeze when carpenters need to maneuver large and heavy glass windows and doors safely into place.
