Use work platforms instead of lifts

Carpenter Christian Frederiksen clearly prefers work platforms over lifts. He particularly appreciates being able to set up a workbench on the platform, as well as being able to take materials and tools up with him to height. This makes it easy for him to carry out his work without constantly having to go up and down.

GET A PERFECT WORKING HEIGHT AND BOOST THE PIECE RATE

“After we switched from scaffolding to platform, it has made our day easier… we avoid all the bad lifts… and then it also goes a bit faster on the piece rate,” are some of the words from Tobias Thomsen, carpenter foreman at Byens Tømrerentreprise. Tobias and his colleagues are installing windows when Platform.as interviews him at the construction site in Valby.

Platform.as total covering streamlines renovation project in Valby

In Valby, Nordstern is fully renovating the seven apartment blocks of Henriksgården. To streamline the many processes involved in the project, the contractor has chosen to rent a total cover from Platform.as. The tailor-made solution consists of 20 work platforms, which are set up in continuation of each other on the apartment block’s two long sides. Between the two rows of platforms, over the building, cassettes have been installed on which the covering cloth is attached. And in each gable, a work platform supports the total solution.
